The Bible Investigator Series is written in the classic noir style, complete with trench coat and felt fedoras. B.I. (Bible Investigator) Lamed Emes approaches all of life's questions with the Eternal Truth which can only be found in the Word of God. This time around, Lamed is hired by Josephine Etsam, who is having more than a little bit of trouble understanding biblical prophecy. "Are these prophecies literal? Allegorical? Metaphorical? Which have already come to pass and what remains for the future? Are they relevant to the modern church or to obscure peoples in ancient lands? Why are these books even in the Bible?" Of course, our hero LOVES a pressing biblical question and explains to Josephine that there are two tools needed by every aspiring student of prophecy: a synchronized biblical clock and an understanding of the major players in prophetic events. Lamed goes on to explain that there are hints and clues that are camouflaged in idiomatic language--clear as glass to the first century Judean. The modern reader may wake up with Ezekiel open against his chest. Lamed will approach Ezekiel, himself, along with many other biblical notables to support his deductions and to help Josephine benefit from the words of both the major and minor prophets. Drama Drash is in negotiations with a local congregation to host the performance. Times and dates will be announced as they are finalized. A Drama Drash performance is an offering made to the Father and we want to present the most unblemished performance we can. The team is looking at rehearsals twice a week for 8-10 weeks. 14 people are needed to portray Isaiah, Jacob, Ephraim, Manasseh, Saul, Solomon, Rehoboam, Jeroboam and others. Because each vignette is short, one man can concievably play to roles. Two women are needed in the cast. One to play the leading role of Josphine, Lamed's foil, and a smaller role as Jeroboam's wife. A few small children will be cast as sheep. Men and women interested in taking part are asked to contact the director, Shirley Harkins by phone @ (580) 704-1983 or by email, This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it . While Drama Drash loves our family of faithful regulars, we always welcome new talent into the fold. If you prefer a humble role behind the scenes, there are places for you, too. Donations are also needed to cover the cost of equipment rental, scenery, props, and costumes. Thank you for supporting Drama Drash Ministries!
