The youngster's at FUEL may not have remembered the original game show, but they won't forget The Mating Game. The performance was very well recieved. Can you imagine a couple hundred teenagers quiet? They listened to every word and rewarded our Drama Drash ministers with plenty of laughs and applause. Thank you Pastor Al and Pastor Mike for inviting Drama Drash to Fuel! March may have come in like a lamb, but the Drama Drash schedule is roaring, performing Lots of Trouble in the Citadel on March 16th, at St. Paul's Methodist Church and on March 19th at New Life Fellowship, both in Lawton. Lots of Trouble in the Citadel is a cheeky melodrama based on the biblical book of Esther, with LOTS of audience participation--which I believe may involve popcorn this time around. Danny, Natalie, Wayne #1, Shirley, and Pastor Mike will all be back to reprise their roles--with a newcomer, Debra, playing the part of Zeresh, Haman's wife. Pastor Mike had to bow out of the March 19th performance, but Daniel bravely stepped in, so the show will go on! Drama Drash recruited a few youngsters from Fuel, Nick and Tekory, who will step in to play the parts of Bigthan and Teresh, and we're excited to see the Drama Drash family grow! The performance is set to begin at 6 PM at St. Paul's and 7PM at New Life. The public is invited to both performances. Admission is free and St. Paul's will serve refreshments, including hamantashen! On April 20th, Drama Drash will tone things down with Do this in Memory of Me, a dramatized Passover, also at St. Paul's. The Seder (order) will being at 5:30P. Be prepared to stay awhile. A Passover Seder takes some time. The Seder is audience participation, not a demonstration, and dinner will be served. |
